As our year comes to a close, we still have many fun events to look forward to. My personal favorite is our annual Holiday Banquet. The Holiday Banquet this year will be on Wednesday December 27th at Al Mia Amore. This event is full of comradery and fellowship. At the holiday banquet there many things going on. This is when we install our new lodge officers, have many recognitions, patch auctions, a slide show, and much more.
The holiday banquet is a lot of fun and I hope to see you all there!

As you know the fall season is fast approaching. This means as well that it is once again time for the annual Council Harvest Fest at Camp Acahela on October 28-29. The Order of the Arrow will be there to help out with the activities such as hay rides, parking, supervise bounce houses, and fill in as needed.
We will again be running the Native American Village, and Native American Activities will be present for some drumming and festivities.
Any help from available arrowmen would be greatly appreciated. I thank you all for your dedication to the lodge, and look forward to a great upcoming year.

This years unit election training is coming up very soon in December. It's a great training to go to if you're interested in helping with unit elections this season. This training isn't very long but you get a lot out of it. We teach you the process of a election to help you feel more confident and comfortable when doing one. Also we do a mock election where you get a feel for it in a fun way. Its a great experience and a great committee to get involved in. The guys that go out to the unit elections are the first these new brother see. This is a great thing because now at future events they feel more welcome when they see a familiar face. I hope to see you all at our training, it will be a great time and I'm looking forward to a great Unit Elections season with you all!

Hello Brothers! Service is one of the main points of our order and our council has given us a place to cheerfully serve the scouts in our council. Lowwapaneu Lodge has been asked to help with the annual Merit Badge College course this January. We will need people to help with sign in, checking pre-requisites for badges, and helping any counselors that need help. Merit Badge College is hosted at Kings College in Wilkes-Barre and will be on January 6th and we will Starr at about 7:30.
