Description
The 7,335-acre Prince Gallitzin State Park is in the scenic Allegheny Plateau Region of Pennsylvania. Large portions of the park can be seen from several easily accessible vistas. The major attractions to the park are the 1,635-acre Glendale Lake with 26 miles of shoreline and the large campground. Modern sites, some with electricity. A 401-site tent and trailer campground is open from the second Friday in April to the last Monday in October. Facilities and services offered in the campground include: camp store with coin-operated laundry, swimming beach, boat mooring area, boat rental, playgrounds, paved sites, showers, flush toilets, sanitary dump stations and camper storage area.
