Description

Camp Anderson is located just north of Tyrone, in Bald Eagle, Pennsylvania.  Camp Anderson serves as a local retreat for several Boy Scout Troops, Cub Scout Packs and Venture Crews, as it provides short term or overnight tent or cabin camping.  Camp Anderson plays host to the following activities each year:  Chief Logan District Day Camp, and Camporees, at least two Nachamawat Lodge, Order of the Arrow Events plus the Lodge's Annual Vigil Weekend and Axion Quest / National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).  Throughout the year, a number of Training programs are held at the camp, including, but not limited to - Outdoor Leader Essentials, Boy Scout Leader Specific Training, Baloo Training, Webelos Leader Outdoor Training, Nachamawat Lodge Officer and Committee Chairman Training and Venturing Leader Specific Training.
